The Impact of Religion on the Study of Violence
Mark Ehrken's Meyer used the concept of cosmic war as a leading concept in analyzing religious violence. He says that people have the tendency to distinguish between what is good and what is bad. The problem with this view, although it might be true in some cases, looks at American evangelicals for example. Max Bercold has argued that identity might be generated through episodes of violence.
