The Role of Isofluorine in Recovery From Anesthesia

The classical teaching about sivoflorine and isofluorine is that there's a distinctly lower blood gas partition coefficient. That should theoretically lend itself to a more rapid recovery from anesthesia. But as soon as the volatile anesthetics are absorbed into the blood, they're then transferred through the cardiac output to the muscle and the fat. And since those partition co-offisions for these drugs are essentially identical, that is the nature of the very similar wake ups between these two drugs.
