The first addition on day three is plant life. The gods organized the earth to bring forth grass from its own seed. You see how they're beginning to delegate creationa some things that only the gods can accomplish, but others. Once we've created this can it begin to participate in the creative processes. And the earth itself is doing that with plants that are growing out of it.
