The first thing is to understand when you're under stress and to know that that is not the best time to talk. When we feel them energetically coming out of telling us how it is, we get closed down,. We back off, we could defend. If I'm threatened with what you are saying, take a decision off the table. Then create some empathy for yours where your partner is coming from. That creates a connection which might be able to solve an issue.
