I was part of the data processing team. We were quite a small team working kind of around the clock on a pretty fast turnaround just because we had kind of a lot of data issues identified at each site that needed to be run down and then going back downstream. So there was a long process of really trying to fix all of the instrumentation parts that would contaminate the black hole data. And then eventually we finally had a data set mature enough that would allow for actual imaging. After data processing, we could really average our data down.
