I Hire and Fire Special Advisors at Downing Street
Dominic Cummings would be given the power to hire and fire, special advisors. They do technically report to the Prime Minister but really they are there as right-hand people to individual cabinet ministers. He wants everyone to know who's really in charge - if Boris doesn't like it, you'll find a way to get rid of him too. This seems pretty radical, so much control. I can't see the cabinet agreeing.
