The F-35 has had over the course of the last decade so many horrific vulnerabilities and just sheer software issues that render the entire plane essentially unstable. And there are various incidents like the plane rebooting in mid flight or losing visibility into all of its radar systems. It is so uniquely awful that they try to cancel the project twice because it was just so riddled with issues and vulnerabilities, but then realized that they don't actually have the capacity to do that.
