Eccentric training increases fascical length. Because your getting the muscles being stretched while it's producing a high force. You need a high force o you can do tempo eccentric training. We can get people lowing, lowering down over a prolonged period of time that increases time and attention. That may create a hypertrophic stimulus where we get more muscle mass. It's not truly eccentric training. If i want to accelerate more effectively, i need to apply for more force in a given time.
