The Importance of Career Preparation

I think in the ideal world, we would be thinking about this sort of thing a lot earlier. We don't get people at that stage where we're catching them before they go into their careers. So how can we ask a 16-year-old to make decisions about their careers? They're going to potentially affect the rest of their lives when I'm still trying to work out what I'm about in terms of my career.
