The Taliban's First Regime
My mother was the one who experienced the Taliban's first regime. She said that Sorrow needs to go because she needs to study. The new government will affect Sarah directly, then me and Osmon. So we packed two backpacks with some clothes for us and the origin things we need. Then we put on our long black dresses with a scarf, mask and everything. And I remember the goodbye, which was very hard. Me and Sarah, both of us, kissed my mother's hand and we were crying.
