There's nothing here that says don't do just in time requirements. If, for instance, the factory comes to you and says, Hey, I need a some software to help us automate a certain test. Well, there you go. Within that, if you want to call it within a sprint, you can then define that specification and then work on it. At least get a few people happy with it before you sit down and write a bunch of code.
