Yevgeny Pragorsion's Political Aspirations
Vitaly got a couple of questions for you from our wonderful listeners Kate from Canberra. She asks if he has any political aspirations and is angling to replace President Putin one day. Yevgeny Pragorsion is still a very dependent figure. Even though his Wagner company is known as a private military company where does it get all the military kit? He's been moaning endlessly about the state not giving him enough ammunition. And also if he wanted to become Russia's president that would be impossible until his criminal conviction is lifted in 1981, when he was sentenced to 13 years in jail. So unless that is quashed he is legally unable to run for president in Russia.
