The fervor, which with which the defenders of severance were like lobbying for its legality. It kind of reminded me of like the gun lobby in the United States. And that seems like, oh my God, this is what a horrible dystopia this imagines. If this technology existed, I don't know how we wouldn't do it. Given, I mean, yeah, that it's actually more efficient and less prone to elicit disgust reactions in us than the current system, which is so hard to overturn.
