Alison made a bad mistake by the defender, there's no question about that. But I do believe what's getting missed in this is the touch to produce the spin in one movement. It was an absolutely incredible piece of skill from an incredible footballer. Diogo Giotto should have buried the head and it would have decided the game for Liverpool. We've seen that obviously last season in the way that not only was he top of the goal score and charts, but also top of the chance creation chart.
