A lot of times when you think that something is very very safe you tend to underestimate the upside. Good looks like perfect but perfect is different with perfect investments the downside is smaller than the good investments and it is also more defined. So what you're doing is when you're saying all this has a tremendous margin of safety often you're underestimating future circumstances under which it could have tremendous upside.
