The Mystery of Christ

For these first generation of Jesus followers, it wasn't so much about the first century Jewish rabbi. It was about something that he revealed and the word that they used to describe this happening was mystery. In the letter to the Ephesians, Paul says God may known to us the mystery of God's will according to God's good pleasure, which was purposed in Christ. For them, the Christ is something true and embedded,. integrated in all of history, but just now exposed, revealed, seen, understood and experienced like never before.
