What Is a Brain Machine Interface?

A brain machine interface is an alternative way of interacting with the world. It exploits your brain activity or your thoughts directly in order to control things in the real world. We need to be able to record the brain activity to understand what's going on inside the brain. And then we need to decipher some sort of intention, and then we can map that intention to some sort of action to control something in the world.
