The Sentencing Guidelines for Sexually Abusing Teens
His original sentence in 2015, so he was jailed for 16 years for sexually abusing three school girls. So he was released this morning after eight years. The judge actually made some remarks along the lines of, I can only sentence you for the punishment that the crime would have got at the time it was committed. And this was a court case of trial many years later when the law was actually different.
