The AMC's Settlement Mechanism

The AMO has proposed a settlement mechanism for demand response. It is complicated so it's getting all sorts of confused commentary around the place, says David Cameron. The timing should be at least one or two summers sooner than 2022 and we need to resolve consumer protections arrangements that are not designed for Demand Response aggregator. We think again that there is a way that at least some household loads and some households could be allowed to participate under the current arrangements and still be adequately protected.
