The Story of the Vampire

Arnold powell was a former soldier transplanted by the austrian government in an effort to defend and police their newly acquired territory. In his post war life, arnold had become a farmer, and he frequently told stories from days gone by. One such story claimed that he had been attacked by a vampire years before while living in cosevo. He said that he cured himself by eating soil from the grave of the suspected vampire. And then, after digging up the vampire's body, he collected some of its blood and smeared it on himself. But just a year later, something happened, and the legend has never been the same.
