Is This Utopian?

If you can't measure what you're doing, you can't see if you're making any progress towards a destination. The whole set up of e, this idealized city state, is really a setting up of some type of ruler. And then you get into the imagery of the cave and all those kind of things, and ok, how much of this reality can we take? But if you start off and say, well, thiss utopia, it doesn't work. I have a proposal, cause i think we're missing something. We've worked. We've gone far from book one.
