Is Football Sustainable?

The situation at chelsea is yet another example of why football meeds a radical wreathing. Too many clubs are being bank rolled, and the question has to be asked, what happens when they disappear? In 20 20, 52 % of clubs were technically insolvent, and that was before the pandemic. We need real time financial reporting, powers to intervene when problems arise. And crucially, the sustainability index and index that uses the vast sum of funds from the t v revenues to reward well run clubs. That can survive with an as without an owner benefactor.
