Before the paris agreement, it was quite plausible that we might have been heading for something like four degrees of warming this century. But certainly, no, the paris pledgesdi did significantly shift things. We got to the point where, by say, 20 20, collective ambition was at something like two point seven degrees. And so the latest assessment is our 20 30 pledges would see a slight increase in omissions by 20 30. In contrast, if we want o to keep warming below one point five degrees, we actually needo cut omissions by forty five % on 20 ten levels.
