The Importance of Rest and Recovery in Climbing

The second factor of this perfect storm is that climbers tend to climb too much and rest too little. The connective tissues don't recover as fast as the well-perfused muscles do so these pesky connective tissue injuries are common in the first year or two of climbing. If you're out of mantra you can train really hard do crazy amounts of high load training and dynamic training and get away with it but if you're only climbing 510d you will get injured probably sooner than later.
