The Importance of Engaging Students in STEM Education

The reason why students are disengaged in the classroom is because they're presented with problems that are different than how they see those same problems in the real world. Problems in thereal world always have a STEM context, but oftentimes in classrooms we present them just as being a science problem or a math problem and not an engineering problem. Showing problems as they appear in theRealWorld means a lot to students. That really helps students drive the engagement forward.
