World war to unleashes this huge wave of military spending and establishes this new, let's call it a public private partnership. The federal government is mobilizing american industry at a scale never seen before to become the arsenal of democracy. There are little clusters of garage startups all over the country then right? You could go anywhere. But what there is stamford and after the war, the model of federal funding, not only for for industry, but also for science and technology. That seemed more logical destination.
