nutrition is one of the reasons i get up in the morning, and it's one of the why that i feel happy. You don't have to give up everything but there are ways you can meet nutritin goals in lots of different ways. And part of what you should be doing with your nutrition to make it sustainable is to make it enjoyable and make it fit in so that it's practical to conduct in your life. Even at a svelte level,  you need to manipulate and im adapting what you're eating from day to day, so that it really thinking about how does my training differ from yesterday?
