What Are You Concerned About?

The U.S. national security strategy talks about cooperating with the PRC on issues such as climate regulation, labor regulation and economic system. We tend to project onto the PRC what we see as common problems; they do not. The party sees them in terms of the party's position and its role in leadership. To the PRC, it is, well, if North Korea has it, are they causing trouble for the United States or for us? Because it's not necessarily bad if it helps me maintain my power here in the PRC.
