There's different classes of MEB problems that people tend to identify right so one class of problem is just like outright exploitation. The second kind of MEB is MEB that is to some extent unavoidable and this probably even benign. MeB in general still leads to this issue of economies of scale and block production where you need sophisticated algorithms to produce optimal blocks but these algorithms change a lot.
