The Changes in the League's Rookie Scale

Both sides wanted to use it as a bargaining chip. Neither side wanted to say that they were losing it as part of, because it's all trading in this. The league wanted the rookie scale to go another year. I think also it was a moral argument for a very long time. But NIL has changed that. Most teams do not want high school players back in. They don't want to go scout high schools. And so one in done just keeps going down the road now.
