Is Testing and Contact Tracing Important for Ebola?

In February 2021, NIH allocated $1.15 billion in funding for long COVID-19 research over a four year period. This document has the table of contents showing 10 different subject areas that are covered. There's a bit of a heavy emphasis here on the lockdown issue, particular only because that's been a particular interest to me. But there's definitely some items here that I'd like to discuss, but I just want to read them.
