How I Decided on an Open-Source Revenue Model
I was in the early days very interested in getting hands-on with the customer problem. Our model today is purely a SaaS model, 100%. We have an enterprise model to allow us to lean in with customers who have special needs. I've leveraged some of the benefits we have in Canada around scientific research and development. Many people don't know that here in Canada as a technologist you can qualify a lot of your work as R&D.
