Are You Making These Choices?

Wen: We live in this kind of paradoxical environ ment where we are humans with a finite capacity, limited energy. And so there's really this deep discomfort about focusing on the things that have meaning. I think it is baked into our situation that doing anything means waving good bye to the possibility of doing other things. Committing to anything or any one means waving goodbye to, the at least for that time, of committing to someone else instead.
