The National Character of a Nation
Can we talk about a national character as a concept? And it may be relying on like, when what and what part of of the nation's history you're talking about? I mean, ye, i'm actually dealing with some of that right now in some of the work that we're working on. The difference between the way a nineteenth century historian would have framed a nationalism and eoples and the soul a nation, compared to how we can deal with that now.
