The Nicene Creed and the Unity of the Church

The Nicene Creed is basically a fourth century way of saying what it means to be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son. It matters that we, that's not just my personal confession that Jesus, Lord, but that is a shared confession with those alive today. A creed is an instrument, right, for fulfilling what is a fundamentally biblical mandate.
