When I ask people to create a vision for themselves, I start with what do you love to spend money on? And the answers are actually usually less sophisticated than yours. One of my favorite examples was a young woman who loves clothes and she was stuck on linear. She wanted to buy four times the amount of clothes but couldn't afford it. What if you took your mom and you flew to Italy and you both went shopping and got something made for the two of you? The two of you would always remember together. That is an example of how you can start to create aVision for where you want to spend extravagantly on the things you love as long as you cut costs mercilessly on
