I think a big part of that is because we haven't really done a good job as a field yet of making components that can be easily composed and understood, et cetera. Right now, like they're all just kind of these bags of hacks that like one hack balances out this other hack, but we don't even know what thing it's balancing out. And so, yeah, that's something we take very seriously is how can we get to simple things that perform well and understand what's actually adding performance. I guess I see that some of these problems that come up in the academic community, of course, are not just confined to like deep mind or Google or company research labs
