The key thing we should be worried about with AI is that if being that smarter than us decides we're not worthwhile, or it's just like misaligned in some weird way, it could just come and just wipe us off the planet. And this is the true X-risk because at some level, you know, it could not be recoverable. We can infer pretty well that even though we don't know exactly what how AI systems will think or function, I think we can expect them to be pretty rational.
