In cricket there is a rule about deception that is not allowed, like unfair acts of deception. But certain types of deception are band and others are not. And i think you have hodges quote somewhere in the book about how players want to think of it as doing these things to win, not to deceive. It can be tough to tell will how much did peds help this person or that person? So what conclusion have you come to, if any, about how advantageous many of these types of onfield cheating actually are?
