The Importance of Being Passionate About Music
I was in the first band I was in with adults. I might have been 15, but there's a newspaper cutting to it and I'm 40. It makes you feel terrible. My mother is very, very passionate about music. If I go around this afternoon, she will only something on YouTube that she's really into and really passionate about it as well. And so I think it's in my DNA. But what I do now is exactly the same as what I was doing at 15, 16. It's just that I got known right out of the gate.My first band was very big and it's continued to be well known.
