What Power Do We Have in Licenses?

I don't think we should be stipulating this kind of usage requirement in licenses and limiting the use of open orsopo. The power that we have is shaming people his culture, his standards, is norms. But so much of it is done in private, that's perhaps some of the limitations of some of the more er permissive licenses. You don't know who's using open esesel until something breaks, and then the shaming comes too late. And i do have a lot of sympathy with what you're saying about those services taking open sor soffware, but i can't see a better alternative.
