When you begin your next draft, i'm assuming, and this is what i recommend people t do, start from the first n. Then add in all the stuff you've already told yourself you wen to do,. like setting the scene, doing a little more descriptive work, you know, that kind of stuff. And then move to scene too. Not knowing the perfect number for each one of your scenes is absolutely fine. Most writers don't even assign a number to their scenes. They're not looking at this stove with such a very intense lazer microscope like I do. The more stories you tell and the more books you write, the better you get at it. This stuff starts
