The Dangers of Restricting Artificial Intelligence
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella: Restricting artificial intelligence also has the effect of inhibiting the freedom of the actual human mind and that's ultimately what we're talking about here. He says regulations can have different effects depending on how strongly they're implemented but yeah it's more than just the pause even. And making a public and verifiable thing seems like it would make it impossible for companies who've invested millions in new technology to maintain trade secrecy which is important for maintaining a competitive advantage, he adds.
