CVDC Retail - What Is the Difference?
The CVDC retail app is a new way to pay for goods and services using NFC technology. It uses the UPI payment system in India, but can also be used by people who have no access to the internet or don't want to use it at all. The idea came about when Singaporean Ravi Agrawal was trying out an ELP-based version of his bank's mobile banking service with Indian banks. He says there are lots of potential applications that could come from this type of application.
