You Can't Put a Pie on the Window Sill on Sundays
There's a law that says you can't put a pie on the window sill on sunday. It was passed in 17 90, and then they ere lit. Yet we write, why do people not be wives? Hopefully because you don't beat your wife. The cultural enforcement is substantially stronger than any statutory law. But just as important now, there are sort of benign laws that are still on the books. They're horrible, and the politicians still lack the courage to repeal them.
