Anton: One of the persistent concerns that was big thing back in the day and I imagine it will be in a foreseeable future, is that academics are not really quite certain about the status of the IP. And so many of the researchers I know have little to no idea about the IP status of their work that they submit to the publishers. They just try to avoid it, avoid ambiguous situations as in uploading stuff to research hub just in case. Maybe it's not that bad, but just in case I won't do it.
