Fire From Heaven by Alexandra the Great

There are a couple of novels, this one about an actor called the Mask of Apollo and another one called the Prasing. I think her great masterpiece personally is Fire from Heaven - she puts bones on this story in the most amazing way. It's a kind of extraordinary act of imagination and catalysis created by an incredibly close reading of sources and archaeology. She also brings in the sense of frustration and the ambition that she felt as a woman growing up in the 20s and 30s.
