When I was first having kids, I didn't really talk about it at all. And so I just said, you know, I'm just going to do my work and not talk about it. Now I feel much differently. Being a mother and being a director are very similar. There's a lot of wrangling. A lot of multitasking. But if anything, being a mom has made me a better director, very patient, you know.
