Killer Whale Sound Samples

It's very difficult to actually pinpoint sound to a specific animal. We developed techniques where we could film with very high frame rates up to 7,000 frames per second through endoscopes. And we trained animals to open their nose and to allow these endoscopes in so we could film what was going on just slightly below the blowhole where they supposedly made the sound. So at least there is very clear motion induced sounds basically produced in their nose. Do we want to talk about one of the sound samples I have? I pulled one out, bottle nose dolphin. Can you describe like what we're hearing?
