Bus: I don't think that you can say the founding principles lead directly to where we are. A big part of america's success was, in a crudely, geographical, m we had a continent that was empty,. As long as you weren't very good at seeing indians, or so that is the basis of american power has always been; its ability to have conquered this continent. Bus: Toto, to the extent that America is weird or exceptional, it's precisely because it's kind of inferior in that way and able to get away with stuff other people cannot.
